Our Exterior Painting Services

Vinyl
Siding
Painting

Vinyl siding is a type of siding that is made from PVC (polyvinyl chloride). It is a popular choice because it’s durable and low maintenance - and you can change the color of your vinyl siding by painting it much more easily than replacing it.

Aluminum Siding
Painting

Painting aluminum siding is typically done to improve the appearance, but it can also be done for protection from the elements.

Gutter
Painting

Painting the gutters of a house is done for a better look or to protect them from weathering and rust. The paint used for gutter painting is usually a high-quality acrylic or urethane-based paint. This type of paint is designed to withstand the elements and provide a long-lasting finish.

Window Painting

Window painting is the practice of painting the trim around windows, usually in a contrasting color to the rest of the house. It's a popular style choice for people who want to add some extra visual interest to their homes. Window painting is a great way to add some extra personality to your home's exterior.

Power
Washing

Power washing is the process of using high-pressure water to remove dirt, grime and other buildup from surfaces. It can be used on a variety of surfaces, including concrete, vinyl siding, brick and stone. It’s used to prep surfaces for painting or staining.

Deck
Staining

Deck staining is the process of applying a colorant to your deck in order to change its appearance. This can be done for aesthetic reasons or to protect the wood from weathering.

Caulking

Caulking is a sealant that can be used in a variety of applications to prevent water damage. It is commonly used around the edges of windows and doors, as well as in gaps between different materials. Once it dries, caulking forms a waterproof barrier that helps to keep out moisture and pests.

Color Consultation

A professional painter can help you select the perfect colors for your home's exterior, taking into account the surrounding landscape and your personal preferences. With their expertise, you can be confident that your home will look its best for years to come.

Exterior Painting Process

Our exterior painting projects will follow this process:

1

Project Confirmation

Project scope, color details and start time confirmed.

2

Surface Prep

Prep includes caulking any areas needed. Power washing is only done if we see obvious mold or dirt on the surface. If your paint is chipping, power washing does not help, we have to plan time to scrape those needed areas and prime them.

3

Paint Application

We use brush and roller, as well as sprayers depending upon the scope of the job. Exterior color changes almost always require two coats. We recommend and use Behr and Sherwin Williams products. Gutters always require multiple coats.

4

Clean Up

When we clean up, our goal is to make sure the outside of your house is set up just like before we got there - so all you notice is your newly and beautifully painted home!

5

Final Inspection

Our project lead will schedule a final walk through with you to ensure all work has been completed as expected and that all quality standards have been met.

Exterior Painting FAQs

When is it time to paint the exterior of my home?

Ultimately, there are a few key factors to consider when deciding whether or not to repaint the exterior of your home. First, take a look at the condition of the current paint job. If you notice any cracking, chipping, or peeling, then it may be time for a new coat of paint. Second, consider the color of the current paint job. If you are looking for a change, then painting the exterior of your home is a great way to achieve that.

How much does it cost to paint the exterior of a house?

The cost of repainting the exterior of a house can vary depending on a number of factors, including the size of the house, the type of paint used, and the number of coats required. In general, however, it is possible to estimate the cost of repainting the exterior of a typical house by considering the following three factors: square footage, trim style, and paint quality.

1. Square footage: The total square footage of the house will affect the overall cost of the project. A larger house will require more paint, and therefore will likely cost more to repaint than a smaller home.

2. Trim style: The type of trim on the house (i.e., whether it is smooth or textured) will also affect the cost. Smooth trim requires less paint and is easier to work with, so it will typically be less expensive to repaint than textured trim.

3. Paint quality: The type of paint used can also affect the cost of repainting a house. Higher-quality paints will usually be more expensive than lower-quality options, but they will also last longer and provide a better finish. As a result, it is often worth paying more for higher-quality. We use high-quality paints.

How often should I paint the exterior of my house?

Painting the exterior of your home is a big job, and it's important to know when the time is right to tackle it. Generally speaking, you should paint the exterior of your home every five to seven years. However, there are a few circumstances that may require you to repaint more frequently. For example, if you live in an area with high humidity levels, paint can start to peel and blister after just a few years. Similarly, if you live in an area with high sun exposure, the paint can fade and become brittle over time. If you notice any of these issues, it's best to repaint sooner rather than later. Of course, there are also aesthetic considerations to keep in mind. If you're simply tired of the way your home looks, or you want to make a change, painting the exterior is a great way to do it. Ultimately, only you can decide when the time is right to paint your home. But by following these guidelines, you can be sure that your home will always look its best.

What is the best color for the exterior of my house?

When it comes to choosing a color for the exterior of your home, there are a few things to consider. First, think about the overall style of your home. A traditional brick home might look best with a classic white or cream trim, while a more modern home could benefit from a bolder color scheme. You should also take into account the colors of your neighboring homes, as you want your house to stand out without being too jarring. Finally, consider the climate in your area. A darker color will absorb more heat in a warmer climate, while a lighter color will reflect heat and keep your home cooler in the summer. Ultimately, the best color for the exterior of your house is the one that best suits your personal taste and the unique style of your home.
